Sleep Training

Sleep training can be a controversial topic, but there are several different methods available to you. The American Academy of Sleep Medicine has just concluded there's no single "best" approach for teaching your baby to sleep well. All the methods work, provided parents follow one simple rule: consistency. Our team is trained and experienced in all methods, and can help you navigate through the different methods and help you pick which one will work best for your family.

Before choosing a sleep training method, you may want to read a few "infant sleep" books. Our team members have all read and are experienced in using the methods in these popular books:

  • The Happiest Baby on the Block

  • Solve Your Child's Sleep Problems (The Ferber Method)

  • The No-Cry Sleep Solution

  • Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child

  • The Baby Sleep Book

  • 12 Hours by 12 Weeks Old

  • Becoming Babywise

Our team has extensive experience sleep training children, newborn and older kids. We follow the method you feel most comfortable with and can implement a customized sleep training method that works best for you and your child.

During our comprehensive consultation, we will come to your house and assess the situation. It is ideal to meet the entire family (Mom, partner, baby, siblings), and to see the baby's room and crib. We will discuss everything from the birth of your baby, eating habits, activities, and your sleep training and parenting beliefs. We will discuss, explain, and help implement a plan that is most ideal for your family. This consultation lasts 2-3 hours. Overnight sleep training support is also available.

Pricing:
